The USAP Difference
At U.S. Anesthesia Partners, Inc. (USAP) we are a physician-owned, clinician-led organization united by a shared commitment to excellence in anesthesia care. We work with health systems, hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting our clinicians with the leadership, resources, and infrastructure they need. We advocate at the local, state, and national levels for our patients and for our specialty.
We believe anesthesia care is stronger when clinicians lead, innovation is embraced, and data is used to measure and continually improve quality.
That’s the USAP difference.
Clinical Quality
Elevating the Standard of Care
Our national quality infrastructure empowers clinicians with actionable insights while preserving local leadership and accountability. By combining transparency, benchmarking, and best-practice sharing, we strengthen patient safety and advance anesthesia excellence.

Clinical Innovation
Innovation isn’t an idea. It’s a commitment to intelligently advance anesthesia care every day.
We invest in technologies, relationships, and operational strategies that improve perioperative efficiency, enhance safety, and support overall better patient experiences.
From digital tools and real-time operating room (OR) insights to forward-thinking care models, our approach to innovation focuses on solutions that make a meaningful difference for patients, providers, and health systems.
Investing in the Future
The Next Generation of Anesthesia Providers
As a leader in anesthesia, we believe in taking steps to create a sustainable future for our specialty through education, research, and workforce development. By developing unique academic collaborations, robust leadership training capabilities, and structured professional growth opportunities, we prepare clinicians to successfully lead in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
Our investment in leadership and clinical education ensures that clinicians are equipped to deliver exceptional care for decades to come.

Leadership
Where clinical leadership comes first.
Our governance structure empowers USAP’s local clinicians to make the decisions they need to better serve their patients and communities.
By keeping decision-making in the hands of clinicians at the local level, we maintain focus on what matters most - patient care, professional autonomy and sustainable excellence.

U.S. Anesthesia Partners Reports 96.6% Patient Satisfaction, Exceeding National Benchmark for Second Year
By Exec Edge Editorial Staff | Tuesday April 28, 2026 Most patients never meet their anesthesiologist before surgery day. They sign a consent form, may ask a few questions in pre-op, and wake up in recovery with only a hazy memory of the clinician who kept them alive through the procedure. For decades, this has made anesthesia one of the hardest specialties in medicine to measure from the patient’s perspective and one of the easiest to overlook.USAP is the only national anesthesia provider to routinely measure patient satisfaction.

U.S. Anesthesia Partners Q&A: Dr. Kurt Jones on Clinician Leadership, AI Innovation and the Future of Anesthesia
By Exec Edge Editorial Staff:Few medical specialties have transformed as quietly — or as profoundly — as anesthesiology over the past quarter century. What was once largely confined to hospital operating rooms has moved into ambulatory surgery centers, physicians’ offices and outpatient facilities across the country. This move is driven by advances in drugs, monitoring technology and techniques that allow increasingly complex procedures to be performed on increasingly complex patients, who then go home the same day.

HELPING OUR OWN
USAP4USAP
When disaster strikes, USAP team members show up.
USAP4USAP, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, was established by USAP to help support USAP team members and communities during times of crisis. The charity is initially funded by USAP team members and USAP, with additional administrative support from USAP. USAP4USAP donations are utilized to assist USAP colleagues and communities recovering from natural disasters and other significant hardships.
Serving Communities
USAP clinicians provide care in a variety of healthcare environments. From academic medical centers to community hospitals, from large health systems to ambulatory surgery centers and other points of care.
While our footprint is national, our care remains local. We empower regional leadership to tailor solutions to each community’s unique needs while maintaining the shared standards that define USAP.
