Anesthesia Excellence.
USAP Central Texas—formerly Capitol Anesthesiology Association—joined the USAP family in 2018 and has been delivering trusted anesthesia care since 1973.
All of our physicians are board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, with many completing advanced subspecialty training in obstetric, cardiothoracic, regional, critical care, and pediatric anesthesia.
While medicine has evolved, our focus has not: delivering the highest standard of safe, high-quality anesthesia care with excellence in both clinical practice and patient service.

A Community Committed to Patients and People
We follow a collaborative anesthesia care team model, supported by 200+ highly trained Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs). Working alongside our physicians, CRNAs, and other care team members, we deliver safe, efficient care across a full spectrum of procedures—from peripheral nerve catheters to complex cardiac cases.
Grow Your Future with USAP Central Texas
USAP Central Texas is a growing team of clinicians in Austin, and we’re actively seeking anesthesiologists and CRNAs to join us as we expand.
Our practice offers a wide range of cases—from outpatient orthopedics to complex cardiac procedures—within a supportive, clinically advanced environment.
We offer physicians both partnership track and employed opportunities, along with strong benefits and a culture built on collaboration, balance, and long-term relationships. We also provide career opportunities for CRNAs, fostering an environment where clinicians work together to deliver exceptional patient care. Many of our physicians join us right after training and choose to build their careers here for decades—a reflection of the supportive, people-first culture we’ve created.
